Alisdair Smith

National Learning Facilitator, CUSOURCE Credit Union Knowledge Network 



Alisdair is the National Learning Facilitator for CUSOURCE Credit Union Knowledge Network, a position he has held since 2004. In this role, he is responsible for developing and coaching credit union directors, executives and staff at all levels in the areas of governance, change and transition, leadership, communications, and teamwork.  

Prior to joining CUSOURCE Knowledge Network, Alisdair worked for over 15 years in change management, training, coaching and performance development with high-profile telecommunications and financial services corporations.

Alisdair holds an MA in Theology and Ethics, a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University, and a Diploma in Applied Arts in Radio and Television from The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. He is certified in Managing Organizational Transition by William Bridges & Associates (Mill Valley, CA, certified as a Leader for Business as Unusual and The Employee Workshop for Organizational Change by Price Pritchett & Associates (Dallas TX), certified as a Trainer for all Zenger-Miller programs, and certified as a Trainer in Team Building by The Lead Group (Chicago IL).  Alisdair also has his DiSC® certification.  

Alisdair is also the Deacon and Business Chaplain at Christ Church Anglican Cathedral in Vancouver, facilitates with the Dalai Lama Centre for Peace and Education and is Chair of the Board of the BC Human Rights Coalition.
